Stitches

Don't worry, the other guy looked worse....

Just kidding.

Nate was having fun with the kids in the neighborhood, when mom came and crashed the party so she could go to the store.  On the way to the car, Nate tripped and fell and hit his head on our porch step.
Lots of blood, 3 stitches and some scrapes and bruises later...

If only mom had just let him stay and play with his friends....

When the doctor asked him what happened, Nate told him "It's a long story"
I guess that was his way of saying he didn't want to talk about it.
He was super brave, didn't move or cry while they put the stitches in
(although mom wanted to),
3 suckers and a pack of gum later, he's back to full speed (his only speed)

...Two days later....
A little shiner and some swelling to go with it
(He wanted to show Grandpa & Papa his stitches)

Trying to convince this kid (for the hundredth time today) that wrestling with his brother is not a good idea right now.  I see a life lesson coming soon...
