Three

Last week, Drew went to his first birthday party for a friend.

It was pretty exciting.  When he found out his birthday was coming up,

he was even more excited, it was all he wanted to talk about for days.

We didn't have any friends over, but we did go out for pizza

and then came home to open presents & eat cake.

 

 

Not sure when he started getting so excited over money,

but he thought it was cooler than the toy. 

 

Olivia and Drew made the birthday cake together. 

Olivia is turning into the baker of the family

(with a new obsession for the show Cupcake Wars)

 

Since his birthday was Easter weekend,

we had an Easter cake.

 

Drew has a big imagination.

 He loves trains, Disneyland, the zoo

and is a bit obsessed with animals.

Every day he is a different baby animal.

Some days he is a baby gorilla, or a baby polar bear.

This particular morning, I walked in to find this...

 

He explained that he was a baby bear,

and this is how a baby bear eats peanut butter... 

He also loves books, and loves to have stories read to him.

I have a confession to make, he is still sleeping in his crib.

That is because it is the only place where he will still take a nap,

usually falling asleep while reading a book

 

He also loves his big sister and brothers.
