January is not my favorite month.
It's cold, gray and it just feels long.
But we managed to find a few ways to enjoy it.
First of all, Cousin Tanner sent Flat Stanley to us for a visit.
It was too cold to get out and do much with him,
but we did get to share a fun snow storm with him.
We only get snow like this once, maybe twice a year.
So of course there was no school = SNOW DAY!
When we did have a little warm up,
Drew and I kidnapped Daddy and
took him to the zoo with us before our pass expired.
Drew still thinks this is the best place on earth.
Patiently waiting to get there
Sam, Liv & Jer went rock climbing for a youth a activity.
(There are no pictures of Sam,
he doesn't let us take many pictures of him these days.
But he was there and we do love our first born.
I just need to document this so that someday
when he wonders why we have so few pictures of him...)
And this sweet boy...getting him to bed these days isn't too hard,
but getting him to stay is another story.
We tend to find him sleeping in some odd places...
And his favorite place to sleep is still in mom's spot
