Jeremy took Sam on a boy's only campout with some of Sam's good buddies from the ward. 3 dads, 5 boys, hotdogs, junk food and a late night. They came home stinky and dirty, but it gave them a chance to use our new tent. Later the next day all the boys managed to get wet in the creek while Jeremy and Brandon had personalized shooting lessons from the ward's resident SWAT guy.

Livie was very disappointed that she had not been invited to go, so we invited 2 of her little friends over that night for a pretend sleepover. Her friends arrived around 5:00 pm and brought their pillows and jammies. We got out the sleeping bags, Barbies and treats and they had such a good time. They were supposed to go home around 9 pm that night, but the girls were having such a good time that I asked their mom if they could stay a little later. They didn't go home until 10:30 pm that night! It was probably a little too late for 6 year old girls, but I loved listening to them giggle all night. There always seems to be a lot of little boys around and Livie doesn't get to play with other little girls very often. It was so fun to watch them play dress-up, Barbies and picnic. I of course spent the night scrapbooking and working on my projects. When our neighbor came to pick up her girls, I was a little embarrassed, my crafty mess was spread out across 3 different rooms.
